In the same year Roger made his debut TV series appearance, when he guest starred as Marvin Grogan in the episode “The Girl Reporter” of the critically acclaimed comedy family fantasy series “Bewitched” which was created by Sol Saks and starred Elizabeth Montgomery, Dick York and Dick Sargent – the series won 13 awards and was nominated for 32 others including four Golden Globes while it aired from 1964 to 1972. He made his debut film appearance (uncredited) in 1964, when he portrayed Jackson in the war comedy film “Ensign Pulver”, written and directed by Joshua Logan and which starred Robert Walker Jr., Burl Ives and Waiter Matthau – the film follows Ensign who ends up on a tropical island with his captain after their ship is destroyed in a storm. Upon matriculation in 1960, Roger enrolled at a college from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre in 1964, and then focused on acting. He was physically very active while attending high school, as he played football for his school’s team, and also practiced baseball and lacrosse. He became interested in acting while attending a local high school, but remained focused on his education. Roger was raised in Los Angeles alongside his several brothers and sisters, by their father who was a journalist and their mother who was a nurse. After he retired from acting, he began working as a photographer before retiring from photography as well, sometime in the late 2000s – today, Roger is living in Morro Bay in California, and is active in local politics. There are rumors circulating the internet claiming that Roger has died, as he has been staying away from the media’s attention.
